Meet Jess

Me and my cheese(y smile).

Quinn, The Great (Dane).

I’m a Designer, Art Director, Creative Strategist, and traditional fine artist with the skill and talent for turning ideas into thoughtful, beautiful visuals that resonate with audiences of every size and type. While design and art are my main lanes, I often step into consulting and marketing support when asked because I’m great at connecting with people, understanding their needs, and communicating clearly with… pretty much anyone. Folks tend to trust me quickly, and I bring a cheerful, positive energy to every project (and every room that I’m in).

My path has bounced through Customer Service, Management, Education, Film, Retail, and even Massage Therapy, giving me a unique view and approach to working with all kinds of personalities and teams while also being able to help everyone speak a shared language and understand each other.

In design, I’ve done a little (okay, a lot) of everything: agency and freelance work, B2B and CPG, university projects, UI/UX, visual and production design, spatial design, publication design, and more. My work has shown up on film, billboards, books, retail shelves, inboxes, and even a few tattoos. Design isn’t just what I do, it’s my craft, and years of practice show in the relationships I’ve built with loyal, happy, repeat clients.

Originally from the East Coast (the only Bay Area I acknowledge is the Chesapeake), I’m now based in Denver. When I’m not designing, I’m usually reading, gaming, hanging with my Great Dane Quinn, or rolling D20s in a good D&D session with friends.

Jess Trivia:

I was on a Geek Pop Culture Trivia show hosted by Bruce Campbell.

I can identify almost all the ingredients of a dish just by the smell.

I have at least one "Vault Boy" action figure in every room of my house.
