All About Me

Hi, I’m Jess.

I’m a Brand Strategist, Creative Director, and Designer based in Denver. I’ve worked with large organizations, nonprofits, and small businesses alike, and I believe good strategy and design should be accessible to everyone.

….and this is Quinn

Quinn is my trusty sidekick and couch buddy. When she’s not draped across my shins, she likes to lie in the grass and enjoy a good Greenie stick.

Jess Trivia

  • I was on a Geek Pop Culture Trivia show hosted by Bruce Campbell.

  • I can identify almost all the ingredients of a dish just by the smell.

  • I have at least one "Vault Boy" action figure in every room of my house.

What I’m most proud of is how I connect with people. I take the time to understand who you are and what you need, which tends to build trust quickly. I bring a positive, collaborative energy to every project (and every room I’m in).

My path here hasn’t been linear, and that’s part of what makes my approach different.

I’ve worked across Customer Service, Management, Education, Film, Retail, and even Massage Therapy. That mix has given me a deep understanding of how people think, communicate, and collaborate, and how to help groups find a shared language.

In design, I’ve done a little (okay, a lot) of everything:
agency and freelance work, B2B and CPG, university projects, UI/UX, visual and production design, environmental design, publication design, the list goes on.

My work has shown up on film, billboards, books, retail shelves, inboxes, and even a few tattoos. Design is my craft, and years of practice show in the relationships I’ve built with loyal, happy, repeat clients.

Originally from the East Coast (the only Bay Area I acknowledge is the Chesapeake), I’m now based in Denver.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me reading, gaming, hanging with my Great Dane Quinn, or rolling D20s in a good D&D session with friends.

If I sound like someone you’d like to work with, reach out, and let’s see what we can make happen.
